JustinL -> Reactions to v1.03 (6/10/2005 10:29:47 PM)

I played Clash of the Titans again under 1.03 (as the US vs the AI) and I noticed that the computer used three different avenues of attack. I was still able to beat the computer handily, but I think that it was a bit more challenging.

I would like to raise one possibility that has already been suggested. Are there scenarios that favor the Soviets in terms of force ratio so that the NATO player has an uphill struggle? Otherwise, it looks like it might be a good idea to design scenarios with a very favorable Soviet to NATO force ratio to address some of the play balance issues.

Otherwise, looks really good.

GamerGuy,

We are in the process of going back though the scenarios to tweak them to better work with all the changes over the past few updates. It will take a little time to get though them. If you see any that appear overbalanced let us know and we'll look into them.

Thanks for the input.

I have to say, its really nice to see the game is being well supported. Its pretty clear that its a labor of love for those who developed it. My hats off.

We thought is was a dead bug. Popped up in the last build and we thought it was gone when we sent 103 out the door. Chalk one up for Murphy on that one. Rob is working to find out why it still showing.

This 'bad quadrant' error message is an urgent fix and we are addressing it right now. I have a fix in hand and will be getting it to the testers in another 30 minutes or so (just need to test one last time myself!). You should see something very quickly.

My apologies! Making code changes up to the last minute before a release sometimes causes little flutters of excitement such as this!

Cheers, Rob.
