The simplest way to cheat in a game running between two machines is to edit the files on your own machine. For example, have you ever used an online flight simulator and wondered why the opposing Fokker Triplane was performing like an F-15??? Well, this may actually be the case if they have been playing with their data files!!!! Sometimes this is not deliberate (but still not fair) especially if there are a few developmental files floating about. The solution is to compare the data files and prevent the game proceding if differences are found. This looks like what has happened in your case. The comparison will detect even a single byte difference. The solution??? One of you zip up and email a copy of your OOBs to the other. That way you are absolutely certain you have the same OOB files. You do not need to send them all, just the two you are using. The OOBeditor that came with 4.4 will give you the filenames (numbers) of the OOB files in the main SPWaW directory. I would strongly suggest you copy your original OOB files to another directory (ie OOB_original) so you have an original copy of all your files. This will require a restart of your game.
