soldier -> WW2 long Campaign question ? (6/22/2005 12:13:32 AM)

How can i get the game to select more (many more) larger sized maps in the long campaign. It always starts off with a good medium or large map but from the next scenario on its always small narrow maps with my large force crammed man to man all the way down the line.
I prefer the tactical opportunities that the large maps can provide, so how can i get them ? Do the long campaign players here just continue to play on with these narrow maps

Hello...

The map adjusts size to the player's core force. Take a larger force and the map will grow.

Hope this Helps...

I have seen the opposite happen. If I choose one rifle company as a core force, I get medium-sized maps. If I expend almost all points choosing an armoured battallion, I soon get nothing but small maps.

Hello...

There is also a random factor and the type mission is considered.

Bye...
