If I change OscarII r/d factories,for example,to N1K1George and expand them to,let's say,300 points.What are the benefits of this,provided that I keep the place properly supplied?Do I get Georges earlier?What about OscarII's?[&:]

The primary advantage will be deleting the requirement to find a place to store all those heavy supply points (about a half million I think after conversion, upgrade and bringing them on line)[:D]

You will probably get the George earlier than default, but there is a pretty severe R&D penalty for early research. Assuming you do this on 8 Dec 42, I could not predict just how much you will gain, but you will gain some.

As to the Oscar II, you will automatically convert (some) Oscar I factories to Oscar II on the historical date (assumng there are any left after conversions). I don't recall just haw many factories automatically convert to Oscar II, but however many they are, they will convert on the default scheduled date even if you have deleted all the Oscar II R&D.

Note that all of the above is speculative since I have never run a Scen 15/16 to that point without a restart[:)]
