Well, I just couldn't stay away any longer. KP and BiN didn't really grab me by the collar and pull me in, so I never bought them. But after reading the boards I just had to get BiI. 30% of download done, 10 more minutes to go. [8D]

I owend KP. Though never really gave it enough time as I wasnt to interested in the battle itself.

Stayed away from BiN as I wasnt interested in fighting in Normandy again.

Bought BiI and Im very pleased indeed.

BII comes with an scenario editor. Moders have developped many mods allowing to fight many battles, including a pbem mod called "war in europe" with a map covering all europe incl. russia (of course) + north africa ! I was astonished when i discovered that ! But anyway, I agree that fighting in scicilia and italy is fun. Same here: bored with Normandy invasion.

I didn't try this giant scenario for the moment because I'm new with this engine and still busy to learn the game details. Somehow complex game but the interface is pretty intuitive. Just need to get familiar with the multiple screens and available information because so far IA kicked my ass all the time :-)))
