So Turkey did not make arrangements... I vote that we keep the game going. There doesn't seem to be a password system, so when I get home tonight, I will run Turkey's turn and take no action on anything (and promise "not to look") nor move etc. Sorry if this means that someone trying to coordinate action with Turkey is left behind.... Somehow, it's almost historical....nothing happens while the Sultan is on vacation....:) I'll then forward the Spanish turn. Onward!

Move has passed through France and is with Britain (France going to war with Turkey over Cyrenaica is an accident, and we are sending a formal apology to the Turks. Hopefully the Turks will turn off their AGRESSIVE setting towards France in the SET POLICY screen. All other players might like to review the section of the manual on this (right at the back under the PBEM heading) and set theirs too. [But why of why did France consider taking Cyrenaica as a protectorate: we had alreay truend off the agressive setting! - Bug?]

Hello Guys, Turkey is back.. if there is something to come back to. I apologize for the long absence, but i was almost sure that i could get in the vicinity of an internetcafe in the southern France. But that is not as easy done as said. There were no computers in southern france AT ALL [X(][X(][&:][&:], and it took me forever to even find a store that sold computers. Have you send the turn on to the next on the list and jumped me, am i still in the game, do you hate me [&o][&o][&o] Sincerely The Sultan

Okay guys need a little help here.....Got the turn back from the Prussians.....Austrians up to bat....I have patched to v1.1 but it wont "see" the current file in the save folder (it does see the old ones)....I went back and uninstalled the game and reinstalled as v1.0 and now it wont "see" any of the previous saved files or the new one that Jim just sent me....any ideas??? I have e-mailed Jim to resend the turn but Im thinking the problem is with version-conversion......??? Faron.

Okay, it is definetly a version problem....after reloading the game and patch, it finally recognized the current file (saw it in the folder) but couldnt load it......I got an error message saying the version was not compatible.... What version did we start the game under? Was there an intermediate version between 1.0 and 1.1??? Evidently, I no longer have the correct version tht the game was started under and Matrix only lists v1.1 as the only patch available.....I thought we were going to patch up to 1.1, but that may not be possible with a game in progress.....any ideas? Faron.

OK, since I was able to load Austria's turn, I took it for, them. Must be an issue with Faron's install. Turn four now in Turkey's hands... Larry

Sadly the Patch isn't - or rather my ability to apply it [:(] I've misplaced my Serial Number and have asked in the Support Forum how I can get a copy of this. If I can't I'll have to let someone take over....
