there is an excellent series about the Revolution on Military Chan. now (287 for DirecTV people).

Last night(Sunday the third)the history channel was running a very interesting story about the Battle for New York. Think they called it Harlem Heights. The area isl built over now but they would point to buildings and talk about what happened on that spot. They said it was one of the first battles where the Americans saw the backs of the Red Coats as they ran away from the action. Though, thru larger numbers the Brits were later able to push the Americans out of the area.

History International is airing a show called "Trench". Civilian volunteers spend two weeks in a WW1 trench, complete with explosions, gun fire, sleep deprivation, etc. It's kind of funny.

I Tivo-ed the Am Rev shows...dont give away the ending for me [:)]
