I have recently downloaded the latest full game version of world at war (400+ mg !). I used getright and had a number of pauses in the download. When I finally came to install the file using winzip I got the following message after a couple of mins: Error: Invalid compressed data to inflate When clicking for more detail I was informed: Extracting to "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\"
Use Path: no Overlay Files: yes
Extracting Spwaw-v50-Internet.exe
Error: invalid compressed data to inflate Can anyone help?
Is this a correcpt file?
Do I have any option other than trying to download the file again!! Thanks

Unfortunately the internet (especially if via phone lines in your house) is not 100% reliable and very large files can suffer corruption in transit. It is common for large files ot terminate early or otherwise suffer corruption. Download managers that allow you to "roll back" the download can often help, but there is often no alternative than to start over.

same thing happened to me after i downloaded, if you downloaded from edome then we have the same problem. So it might not just be a corrupt process so much as an already corrupt file.
