NemRod -> LCU info screen (7/7/2005 12:53:18 PM)

When your LCU are on the road or in an ennemy base you can get some info by clicking on the little flag at the bottom of the screen. But I don't understand the informations about supplies:
At the beginning of the game I can see "supplies 0" "supplies required 0" at any non friendly location. Then it shows that turn after turn "supplies" increases but "supplies required" is always 0.
In my PBEM game I'm now in march 42 I can see "supplies 100353" "supplies required 0" at every non friendly hex I check ( China, Burma , Palembang,etc....) it didn't change for several turns.
What are supposed to show these numbers? Is it normal to see the same numbers everywhere? Thanks.

I've also been puzzled by these numbers, but here is my take on it.

The supplies required (i think) is the number of supplies required by the base. Since there is no base, the number will always be zero (until you create a base there, if possible).

The large number ("supplies 100353" that you quote, for instance) i think is the number of supplies available to non-base areas, and surely it must exclude supplies at places like SF, Karachi, etc. (I'll have to check this out more thoroughly when i have the game in front of me, to see if this changes from one theater to another).

The numbers to worry about are the numbers adjacent to any units in the hex. I.E. The 666th Division has 125 (tons of) supply, need 524. Hopefully, a unit will have available supplies at least equal to to needed supplies.
