Hello,

I decided to play cold turkey against the AI++. I did not remember the problem with Operation Avalanche and the Allies barely holding on to the bridgehead. Not reminding myself of the history or watching the computer play itself prior to play was not "good intelligence." BUT it was jolly good fun!

I think I almost heard the Germans calling for me to come on in to the beach and surrender because they have me covered. IF that sound bite or similar was on the BII sound track for Operation Avalanche, it would have been spooky & unnerving. It must have been the same for the Allies that came ashore and heard it over the German loud speakers!

I made a few mistakes and found out that the BII AI is a bit more aggressive than the BIN AI! I like it!

The AI++ and I rolled back and forth across plains south of Salerno. The British forces from the south barely arrived in time. It was bloody right down to the last German turn.

The picture shows the KIA units after turn 27.

While the AI++ and I went to a draw (barely!) - I know I will do better.
