duuh should have read page two I guess this is on purpose with fast arty on (which I always have on as hate waiting for an hour of barrage) BigJim

I never had a problem with my sound card and I LOVED how the fast arty sounded with it rising in sequence till reaching a climatic cresendo and then slowly fading away like a thunderstorm moving off in the distance. it was really coll and never took more then 20 seconds or so.

I'm another fan of the version 1 fast arty sounds. Please, please please, bring them back! ------------------ Fabs

Get over it folks! If you are were one of the people whose game crashed because of the sound, I don't think you would want it back. And what would you rather Mike Wood be working on programming....a toggle switch for fast artillery sounds?...or new elevation levels? (Sigh) Sorry if this sounds harsh. I'm not having a good day and can't take it out on the battlefield until I get home!)

Priorisation aside, I would also have fast arty sound back. Those who had the crash because of the big file size could probably have fixed it by replacing 299.wav with a empty or a smaller wav file. Eliminating the sound alltogether is a bit overkill . ----------------------------------------------------------------- -Sallah, where's my father? -They have him, in the belly of that Steel Beast.
