You should use DownLoad Managers - like GetRight and/or FlashGet!

Downloading stuff from web browser is not good solution for big files...

Wilhammer -> RE: CHS package download problem???? (7/29/2005 4:15:00 PM)

I too am experiencing problems with the package - same results as above.

NO PROBLEMS with other files, some larger, like the map file.

I think I solved it for me; is CHS 1.02.zip at http://www.bur.st/~akbrown/witp/files the same thing?

I will also try Leo's suggestion.

---------------

It might be that it is a very popular download right now? Also, it gets renamed form the above file listing to the long one the web pages link too?

Nevertheless, Leo's solution is working, but noticing frequent server disconnects in the message bar of GetRight.

My solution, on another PC, is working too. It has not stopped and is at 71% after 9 minutes.

Yes it is the same thing, but it is only there temporarily. I get into trouble with my website hosts if there are too many downloads from it.

Spooky's site has had problems with large files for some time. As mentioned already, you need to use a download manager, or Firefox (which can resume downloads).
