The BBC has a number of great podcasts, but the one called “Documentary Archive” is most interesting. Recently they posted “Pacific Footsteps” an audio tour of 4 major battlefields of the Pacific War. It also highlights what is going on in these places today. You can subscribe via Itunes. While you are at it you might want to check out the truly wonderful “Late Night Live” from the Australian Broadcast Corp. The end of the August 3rd podcast has a discussion of a recently published book about the fall of Singapore (the author blames the Aussies).

They don't, but the Aussies have found a way to convert them. [:D]

The real reason for the fall of Singapore was NO BEER, they keep trying to feed the Aussies tea. [:-]

could be true.....

before Beer.......South Seas detachment continues it's march on PM.

after Beer......South Seas detatchment retreats back to Buna and eventual destruction.

BEER.....its not just for breakfeast! [sm=party-smiley-012.gif]
