Hi all,

I know it is Off Topic but this is the first Il-2 "Pacific Fighters" video I saw (I knew of previous Il-2 videos - the best was "Requiem" - if you haven't sen it you should!!!) and cince WItP is Pacific I thought what the heck...

Please note that those are in-game gfx (just sound was edited) and that, apparently, humans flown those aircraft on-line...

Nice movie, but then, if you " cut and paste" the movies of 20 battles, you will always get some nice stuff [;)]

Very nice, also watched the requiem, but the seafires taking off from lexington class carriers were a bit strange [:D]

The "Requiem" video is really something special... and the on-line pilots that did it were Chinese... incredible...


As for Seafires taking off from Lexington in "Turtle Island" video... well... artistic freedom... [8D]

That requiem video is quite sad, funny how a video like that can bring home the loss and human side of the conflict.

Good friend of mine told me (after he saw it for the first time) that even so small it was much better than most recent Hollywood WWII movies (Pearl Harbour notably) and that "Requiem" authors could have taught big $$$ directors a thing or two...
