Lee James -> Resource limits (8/8/2005 10:36:30 PM)

Acording to the rules guide one can only stockpile 150 of each resource. So how do we actually produce units requiring more than that like heavy art. which needs 300 Iron ?

And the guard units cost less in the book than they do in the game.

carnifex -> RE: Resource limits (8/8/2005 11:11:49 PM)

Stockpile limits have been increased in the final build I forget exactly but don't worry about it - you will be able to save up enough to buy anything. Not sure about the Guards but I would go with the new cost - if you want to change it edit the file master.txt in the data directory.

There's probably other discrepancies you will run into - use search here or post your questions.

Ralegh -> RE: Resource limits (8/9/2005 4:16:24 PM)

Its something like 2300 for money, 350 for each of the others I think, except luxeries that get special taxes to keep em under about 110.
Hmm - I can't recall seeing labour over about 100 - but maybe that's my play style (grin).

Hard Sarge -> RE: Resource limits (8/9/2005 7:01:16 PM)

I have not see Labor go high enough either, I need 124 to build some roads, I think 96 is the highest I have seen ????

HARD_Sarge

yes, you can save enough to build guards, it is just going to take awhile to build

and yes, You can build Hv Arty
(they are nice, I got one Corp with 2 of them, 4 normal and 2 Lancers, nice Corp !)

ericbabe -> RE: Resource limits (8/9/2005 7:22:40 PM)

There may not be enough labor to build the highest level roads for some countries. The stockpiles happen before production. So, for instance, the money limit is $2000 + whatever net income you can manage to procure.

Lee James -> RE: Resource limits (8/9/2005 8:50:24 PM)

Dear Hard Sarge,

Nice Corps, you blast them with the guns till they wobble and then charge the Lancers in I take it ?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 1:05:27 AM)

You got it !

Arty is the ruler of the battlefield

go to the ARR area and look at battle line

I got some pics of my fancy Army

HARD_Sarge

Armee du Hammer, Kellerman, with 2 INF divs
Corp Austro Guns, Buernonuil, Duc du Orl, 5 Art, 2 Cav Divs
Corp Prussian Guns, Hoche, Dugommier, 5 Art, 1 Irr Cav, 1 Inf Div

over time, having to drop off troops, replace troops, the line up has changed, it used to be Austo Horse, but it had no Cav, so changed the name

the 3rd crop never got to join it, that was suppost to be the Inf Corp

over all, it rules the field, hassle is if it has to stand toe to toe, but so far, nothing has gotten close to toe range :)

HARD_Sarge

I need to get my troops home so I can get them back into the right Armies, I am a KG kind of guy

Armee du Prussia, Jourdan, 2 Cav, 2 Inf Divs
Corp Polish Lancers, 3 Lancer, 2 Art, 1 Horse Art

Armee duOIta(I type fast, at times I mispell things) Layayette, 3 Inf
Corp Gun, 2 HV Art, 4 Art, 1 Cav
Corp Gun and Horse, 4 Cav, 1 Irr Cav, 2 Horse Art

those are my Strike Armies

at 80% readyness, I got around 1,020,000 men under arms

at times , my names may seen odd, but they are based on what is going on, I took a number of Prussian Arty, so named the Corp I put them in, Prussian Guns, I took a lot of Aus Cav POW, so the that Corp was for the cav, I made, only, things change

Armee du Prussia, was the Army fighting in Prussia, Armee duOIta, was misspelled, but was to fight in Italy, but peace broke out

Lee James -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 2:03:18 AM)

Semper Fi sounds familiar, do know you from elsewhere ?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 3:30:10 AM)

Well, the HARD_Sarge part may be known, somewhat, I use that nick in all of the forums I go to

the Semper Fi part, well that is the Call Sign of the Marines

and since I is, or should as was, I use it still

Once a Marine, always a Marine

HARD_Sarge

Lee James -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 9:04:47 PM)

Isn't it Semper Fidelis ?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 9:14:42 PM)

Roger that

just a shorten verison

HARD_Sarge

Lee James -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 9:52:45 PM)

Well there's you and........err..........Hmmmm........I see your point.

I bet there are some in Italy that could give it a go and there are bound to be some classically educated Royal Marine Officers in the UK that can throw out a quick 'Dulce Decorum et pro-patria Mori' and all that nonsense.

(Someone is going to come on here in a bit and tell me I failed to congigate the verb or something)

Hard Sarge -> RE: Resource limits (8/10/2005 10:06:47 PM)

LOL
I try not to do that to Verbs any more

you would be surprised at how many people frown upon that sort of thing

HARD_Sarge
