Doobious -> Trading with other provinces list (8/20/2005 10:44:56 PM)

What kind of order are the provinces in under the Trades tab?

It certanly isn't alphabetical. Is there any logic to it?

Is there a way to sort these provinces, rather that searching for an eternity to find the one I'm looking for?

Any help is appreciated.

Heh, tell me when you find out :-)

I hate the trading list. On the other hand, I am getting quite good at remembering the flag of Mecklemberg ;-) lol

I'm glad I am not alone. [:'(]

Funny, that is one complaint, you get when you are playing the game, but forget when you get to the forum to ask or complain about it

maybe we can get it on to Erics list

Alphabetical within Nations and then minors alpha seems nice.

And add a port symbol! [;)]

I haven't checked, but IIRC it is geographical starting in UK. I would guess they listed them this way to help players to trade with provinces which are near to each other, keeping down the cost of establishing and maintaining trade routes.

well, would say, keep posting how you think it should be, or how it could be better, or what needs to be added to it, if Eric can fit it in, I think he will look at it

all we can do is ask

I agree with Deerslayer. Just make the list alphabetical, and group them together country by country. That seems the easiest, since most of the time you want to trade with a specific country.
