Hi, When the game ends because of auto victory conditions being met that is total victory. Playing past that point is the victor killing POW's. The only exception to this is where the Allies lose by 4-1 in 43 and the ratio is strictly based on VP from base captures. (not from losing material) In other words the Allied player does the "Sir Robin" The score would be something like 12k to 3k. Here the chicken hearted Allied player would actually be in good shape for a comeback provided China has not collapsed and he has retained Pearl Harbor and India/Ceylon is secure. (If he has these he can retake everything else)(China is required simply to pin down the great mass of Japanese LCU there) On 1 Jan 1943 the Allied player would have finished upgrades to his 6 CV, Have the new torpedo plane. All escorts would be upgraded and new (Essex) CV would only be a few months away. His landing craft would be arriving and all his LCU would be 100 percent ready to retake their first objectives. If he began slow (using LBA) by mid 43 he should be controling events provided of course he does not suffer a major disaster. If I was Japan in PBEM and this was the situation on 1 Jan 1943 I would tell the Allied player to KMA.
