I have noticed from religiously reading many threads here, that the manual might not be 100% accurate. How accurate is the manual? I'm curious because I bought this game about 2 weeks ago and I'm learning new things all the time, but I don't really know if I should regard the manual as 'the holy grail'.

Thanks for any and all input.

P.S. this game is a blast. I remember playing PTO 2 way back when and this game brings back fond memories.

Don't regard the manual as any sort of grail. It is a little bit outdated, and while the overall game mechanics are still accurately portrayed, many small details have been changed during the development process.

But that's why this forum's here...[;)]
