When a runner steals a base, the batter's count isn't reflected correctly.

In my latest game (watching through PSPNcast), the runner on first stole second on a 1-1 count, on a ball. He then stole third on a 0-1 count, on a strike. The batter then proceeded to pop out to SS on a 2-2 count.

At the very least, the 0-1 count should've been for the steal of second...

Were you managing the game or just watching?

Just watching.

I have had this problem while managing a game though.

Are there foul balls ever in the count of pitches? I have not watched to closely but it seems to me ths the pitch count is only augmented by the ball and strike count plus one. Maybe I just have not watched close enough though.

I've noticed this to be consistently off in all the games I've managed. The count is 0-2, you decide to call for a steal, and then the runner steals on the 3-0 count. I'm thinking that at some point, the game is resetting the count when you give the command to steal.

Oh, and I've realized this happens regardless of the steal attempt's success.

The counts appear to be rather random, not just off by 1 ball or 1 strike.

Well maybe foul balls are counted then. I just don't know.
