rjolley -> Question about a pitcher being X pitches over limit (8/31/2005 8:37:53 AM)

How is this determined? If a pitcher is 1 pitch over his limit, according to the PSPNcast, then the next count shown is 3-0, will that pitch put him 5 pitches over the limit, or 2? I think the game will say 2, but it should be 5, if my count is correct. I believe PS internally plays out the game pitch by pitch, but shows us just the result. Is this correct? If the game is played pitch by pitch, some of the display issues dealing with counts may have to do with an accidental reset of the count.
