Soft Heap -> The idle Polish gentry (9/20/2005 5:33:21 PM)
Hi,
Q: Playing as Austria/1792 I conquered Poland and now I've got 4 Polish generals including Poniatowski subsiding near Krakow for years. What does this mean, I can't persuade them to serve the Austrian case nor do they head of to France or Sweden. Can't I just get rid of them, they begin to annoy me a little bit?!

They're there waiting for the day in which Poland regains Her independence. They're not hurting anybody...

It's going to be a long wait until November 1918, might as well break out the vodka... [sm=party-smiley-012.gif][sm=party-smiley-012.gif][sm=party-smiley-012.gif][sm=party-smiley-012.gif][sm=party-smiley-012.gif]

Hmm: possible feature for a expansion pack: generals whose country dousn't exist could join the "revolt" of the player who is oppressing their countrymen. Revolts could more actively make alliances with other countries against their oppressor. Hmmm.
