When is whatever random factor that determines if your association expands or not determined? My plan is to make 20 copies of my .psa file at the end of the season and keep advancing to the next year with each one until I finally get an expansion prompt on one. Is this going to work or am I just wasting my time?

With recent versions of PureSim expansion is no longer random, you are prompted if you'd like to expand or not. What version of the game are you running?

I'm using Release Candidate 1 for the Gold Edition. I didn't get any prompt for this league. When I auto-simmed a few decades with another association, it randomly expanded a few times.

I apologize for stating the obvious, but are you sure you checked the box allowing expansion? If I remember correctly, it's not active by default. Granted, it's an easy (perhaps "too easy") fix, but then again, whenever you call Tech Support, they always do say, "First, is your computer on?".

Lol, yea, no offense. It's checked all right.

Good! I'm glad that wasn't taken the wrong way.

I remember that during the earlier versions (or at least what was early to ME, considering I came aboard late in the game history) that expansion was a random feature that came out after the FA period. Since then, though I regret that I'm not sure which version finalized it, I've noticed that the option comes out all the time.

Shaun, now that I think about it, is expansion an option when you're playing with real teams? ...or is that only for fictional and sandbox modes?
