FrankyVas -> performance questions (7/2/2000 7:48:00 AM)

I have a 650mghz Athlon with 256meg ram and a tnt2 video card. At work I have a 450mghz PIII with 128megs ram and a tnt video card. At work the game runs at least twise as fast as it does on my Athlon puter. Is there something I'm doing wrong, is the code optimized for Intel chips? What gives? Frank V.

Heya Franky! You must have a problem with your computer I run 700Athlon Gforce256 32mgs AGP4x and 128mgs rams and it cooks on my machine, make sure you have the latest graphic card drivers intall. Hope this helps Tankhead ------------------ Coordinator: Tankhead's SPWAW Resources http://sites.netscape.net/rcclout

Make sure you have the movement delay set at XXX to get the fastes movement speed.

Wild Bill -> (7/2/2000 10:13:00 AM)

And if you want it even faster, set message delay to xxx and live delay to xxx. It rolls right along, course you can't read anything, at least not these old tired eyes...it becomes almost a blue. I have the same setup you do, Tankhead...WB ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games
