String -> PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 10:18:46 PM)

Do they use naval or merchant shipyard points.. manual is strangely silent regarding that. (I do hope it's merchant though)

tsimmonds -> RE: PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 10:30:08 PM)

MSW are merchies, the others are warships.

Yamato hugger -> RE: PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 10:52:07 PM)

Merchant is used for APs, AKs, AOs, and TKs.

Not sure if it uses merch for APDs and AVs. I would think not, but not 100% sure. Everything else uses naval.

Twotribes -> RE: PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 10:54:00 PM)

I was told CVE use merchant as well.

Yamato hugger -> RE: PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 10:55:21 PM)

Well they should be. They were almost without exception built on merchant hulls. I doubt the game takes that into effect. I could be wrong of course.

The whole list for MSP is CS, CVE, AO, TK, AP, AK, ML, MSW, MLE, AE, AV, AR, AS. Everything else is naval.

Thats enlightening. Thank you.

AD also I assume.

tsimmonds -> RE: PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 10:58:53 PM)

IJ can't build AD.

Yamato hugger -> RE: PG's, PC's and MSW's (10/6/2005 11:01:06 PM)

Was thinking there was one in the pipe at start, but that was an AS.

So true, alas.[:(]

Which is really strange considering the Japanese navy pretty much built their entire strategy around the torpedo.
