Darn, I guess I missed you garoco.

Let me know if you would like to try again. Just send me a PM. [:)]

Suvorov928 -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/22/2005 9:57:02 PM)

I missed it too. I had to coach my daughters sofball game early this morning, then had to put up hurricane shutters. Next time anyone wants to try the TCP/IP games, let's set it up with like a 2-3 week notice, then maybe we can get people together easier.

In fact, if we could find enough regulars, maybe we could meet 1-2 times a month, and play a long campaign.

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 12:06:33 AM)

Hi Doobious and Suvorov928
Certainly, Mogami and Me had started at 0900 Time New York City, the experience was very good, we had played from 0900 until 1500 more or less 9 turns. In last moment the prussians (IA) defeat for my friend and allied Mogami in the battle of Krakow had sabotage the communications between both and the line was broke down. However very excite experience with the battle tactics in live, change the all sense the game.
I will avalaible during all the day of today (Saturday) if you wish a challenge still, on next saturday 0900 time New York City I would be avalaible again to a game. Thanks

mogami -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 12:34:11 AM)

Hi, Everything worked like a charm up to the moment the Prussians sounded the retreat. Then the game locked up
Would be a real blast to have every country human controlled but you have to be able to commit 8 hours or more at a time to make any progress
You must fight the detailed battles they take time but are fun to watch

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 1:30:46 AM)

I wait for you to continue our challenge today.
Tomorrow (Sunday) I will unavalaible to play

This was my initial thought as well.

A scheduled game.

3-4 players with the rest AI would best I believe.

Heck a 4 hour block once a week would be a fun way to do it. That can happen on a weekend or even a week night if we want. Easy to move around if the need arises?

Lemme know what ya think. [:)]

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 2:05:05 AM)

The dynamic of game do that you use entire day to play it. I believe that a saturday or sunday is the better

Doobious -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 6:50:30 AM)

We had an excellent start to the game.

Then I locked up after 5 hours of good, solid play.

I tried to save no clue if it did.

Thank you garoco for a fun game! Do you have a save?

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 6:58:40 AM)

The same problem that when I had played with Mogami, in the middle of a battle another opponent human against the IA then crash all the game.
Doobious I had save a file in this ocasion, I donīt make the same mistake twice.
Sure that we would continue this TCPIP on next Saturday. Well See you later. 0012 Sunday

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 9:06:20 PM)

Hi Doobious and Mogami
The next saturday (29) I will avalaible to continue our game please confirm if you wish play still or you will busy that day. Thanks in advance. [:(] In another hand, I put a topic in the forum about of the ver 1.2.14 Beta with reference our problem that the program crash in battle tactic when the IA is lost the battle, please if you would write something more about of this problem better than me, My english doesnīt good. [8|]

mogami -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/23/2005 10:01:23 PM)

Hi Actually I don't think my battle crashed in the middle. It was several turns after the Prussians had sounded retreat. It locked up when a Russian unit retreated off the map.
There had been no combat for several turns as it was night and my units were resting and being resupplied. I had one routed unit and when it left the program seemed unable to continue. I think I'll be available (nothing planned yet for sat)

If we get more players I'd be in favor of a restart

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/24/2005 4:22:42 PM)

I Mogami
I think equal, if Doobiuos doesnīt noting to make in that day, we would start a new game and save with each turn made to avoid our last experience.
If exist someone that wish participat in the next saturday of our TCPIP only need remain around 8 hours in the screen
Regards

Doobious -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/25/2005 9:24:47 PM)

I would love to play again next Saturday, but devoting an entire day is too much for me to pull off. I would like to play with 3-4 people, maybe we can start at 4-5 PM EST (New York)?

Let me know if your interested, and maybe we can meet every Saturday for a game! [:D]

garoco -> RE: TCP/IP? (10/26/2005 6:28:40 AM)
