Rickenbacker -> Emergency! How do I get a decent screenshot? (7/3/2000 10:46:00 PM)

I need to get a few screenshots for a news item in swedish PC Gamer, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to get one with the palette still intact. Does SP:WAW have this function built in? I'd appreciate a quick reply, preferably email me at rickenbacker@innocent.com as I promised to send the pics in tonight . ------------------ Rickenbacker ------------ rickenbacker@innocent.com

You can take some from your SPWAW section. http://www.matrixgames.com/spwaw/whatsnew.asp David

I believe I read in the v2.1 features that a screen shot feature is in the works for version 3. But I think you can probably download the screen shots they have at the link for screenshots. Good luck. ------------------ Jeff You others best when at the same time you serve yourself.

Thanks, after some unsuccessful tries with HyperSnap I think I'll go DL some instead. ------------------ Rickenbacker ------------ rickenbacker@innocent.com

Hypersnap works great for me. You can set it up so that when you have a screenshot you want, simply hit the "scroll lock" key, then minimize the game. Hypersnap must be running, however, when you start the game. Then open it and you'll see your screen shot. I then use PSP to refine and resize my pic, save it as a jpg file. That is how I got all those screen shots you see on the SPWAW page. Most of those are mine. WB ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games
