A6M3 Upgrade problem (Full Version)

I am playing with 1.604, no player defined upgrade.

i am in late '43 and all my factories upgraded automatically to A5M Zeke. The problem is i still have 6 squadrons of A6M3 Zeros that will upgrade to N1K1 George (mid' 44) and A6M8 (mid' 45) that now have no replacement. how can i fix this?
if i put a factory again to build A6M3, won't it upgrade to A5M Zeke as all the others?

Yes, it will upgrade. There is no recourse. You should have built enough when you had the chance. Sounds cold, but fact of life.

1) You can set your A6M3 units NOT to upgrade.

2) You can set your A6M3 units to upgrade to the A6M5 if you prefer.

3) I think you can turn off the automatic upgrades switch ANY TIME during a game - and then possibly factories not upgraded will not upgrade.

I think that you don't need factory to produce any A6M3, because other squadrons that normally upgrade to M5 model put their aircrafts to the pool, from that pool you can replenish your six squadrons without problems.
