So what does your map look like when you are playing WITP?

No hexes: I was a cartographer in a former life, who needs hexes.

Hexes: It's not a wargame if you can't see the hexes.

Hexes with color coded borders: I have trouble making it to the local grocery store.

[:D]
But seriously, what hex setting do you run WITP on and why.

I had hexes for about a week, but I just think the map looks so much prettier without the lines on them.

no hexes just for aesthetics[;)] you can always turn on hex sides when you need to count things like ranges etc

Hexes off......it really clutters the screen on my Palm Pilot.

A good compromise is Subchaser's mapmod; it has hexes for the ocean, and no hexes on land. Very good effect.

Hexes on (with Subchaser's map).
I switch on colour borders when needed.

Bye

Screw the hexes! That's what F6 is for.[;)]

No hexes is the way to go.....

but the Andrew Brown maps with the borders (regions,/weather/malaria etc) is a nice fallback!!!!

Hex-sides are useful for placing submarines near coast, finding the hexes convoys have to move into.. And to see if some land movements are actually possible.
