Sneer -> RE: loop bug again (7/25/2006 2:56:32 PM)

it is when allied player seems to be stuck at certain date
it is when japan player puts his orders and allies sees only previous day on map
this way you have same turn all the time

after combat of 11th i put order for 12th saved and sent
Raveredave was unable to put orders for 12th as his game date in this save was 11th again
somehow savegame lost memory of what happened :-)
we got safety procedure from matrix technical support but it means that you loose at least 2 turns and usually whole day on finding where in the past is "safe" savegame

i hope support will fix it

in alternate 10th july Vengeances were not escorted by p38 so only 12 of them were shot down sor same price of 6 modern jap fighters ( ops)
i can't say i'm lucky - it is small thing but we will refight attack on allied light forces in northern pass and due to Murphy law there will be obstackle again i guess - we will see - it is not nice - what to do if bug will strike during invasion or carrier battle ??????

duhhh, never heard of that bug. Hope this one doesn´t get my PBEMs.[8|]

Sneer -> chungking soon (7/25/2006 5:59:34 PM)

we are nearing to another chungking assault soon - i think 10-12 days to go
chinase reinforcement are almost there as well as bought out kwantung bde
i should have close to 15k AV almost 10k guns 1.2k tanks and 950k troops against 215k chinase light forces ap 7k AV and no guns and tanks
all in perfect supply - i think i will need to go with shock attack as even 1:1 gives chances to bring forts down and it is a key to this battle
question is if what i see there will not make my heart broken

Sneer -> RE: loop bug again (7/26/2006 9:14:43 AM)

in alternate version of history allied were lucky again
not 3 but 2 dms were sunk and they kill one of my subs too

loop bug and constant blocking my turns as spam made me a little nervous

Sneer -> chungking news (7/31/2006 10:28:52 AM)

details will be given later but 7/29/43 chungking was shock assulted by my forces
2:1 was managed to achieve with small margin
2/of 3/ forts levels are down
9k enemy troops killed as well as 5k my troops / based on number of army points change that day/
70k+ of my troops in casualties status
my start AV was 17.2k AV
after attack 9.3K AV ( i.e. 51st inf div is reduced to 120 AV)
so almost 50% AV lost
losses were high and strenght regaining will take ap. 3-4 weeks
but this frustrating cycle is broken - without these forts / i don't let to built anything new/ Chungking is doomed now

7/30/43
i-5 reported attacked by DD force in mid ocean between PH and West Coast
glen from other subs show CV in TF

Raverdave -> RE: chungking news (8/5/2006 11:38:39 AM)

Well the posts have been few and far between simply due to the fact that I have been struck down with the flu.  First came down with it on Monday and been fighting the bloody thing all week.  Today (Saturday) I actually got out of bed and went outside.
Anyway I am now fit enough to do some turns so the reports should flow...........oh and here is why I love Beaufighters so much.[8D]
