dave baldini -> LnL rules questions (11/18/2005 4:10:32 AM)

just started the Alamo scenario and a few ?'s have popped up:

1.regarding wreck counters, do they negate a clear hex for:

a. +1 movement TM penalty for moving in the open?
b. do they effect an afv's ability to overrun in the hex?
c. does it effect the automatic clear hex spotting of a unit that is in a clear hex with a wreck counter?

the ambush hero card: it says to generate squads based on the type of the hero/leader..so if you have a leader of the 101st airborne with both glider and para units, which type do ya use?

and lastly, is there a limit on the number of heros generated in a scenario, i have had situations where i rolled 3 "1"'s on the same stack and only had one leader left in the countertray...what do i do about the other 2 generated?

thanx fellas

No to all of these questions AFAICT.

remember that the +1 is applied to any moving units, not just units moving in the open.

The card say randomly selected.

You are limited to a maximum of two heroes on the mpa at the same time.

Stanguay,
Can you give me a rule ref for this, I have been told that two is the limit and thats the way I play but man for the life of me I can't find it in the rules?

Thanks
John

John

It's not in the rules, it's an answer that was given by the designer on many forums (this one amongst them !). I think it originate from the fact that, in the ancestor game of Band of Heroes, Forgotten Heroes, there was only two heroes counters avalaible for each nation.
