But then again...misunderstanding in strategy and diplomacy can also lead to failed plans....which is also good.

I'd wanted to add buttons or some sort of filters for private chatting, but it was something we just didn't have time to add -- maybe for a patch or upgrade. (We also didn't have time to add detailed combat chat! Something I really would have liked to get in there.)
