In my new PBEM starting dec 1941 I note that PM begins the war under "australia command". To change it to "southwest pacific" would cost to me 600pp !! I can't afford it during such a difficult period. My question is "when playing allies is it worth it to change this command, and if yes when ?"
(the problem is the same for giligili and thursday island that I use when defending PM)
thank you ![;)]

It's not worth it. Spend your political points to change the commands of UNITS, not BASES.

ok terminus, but I will use "southwest pacific" air units to defend PM, and what about the replacements ? (pilots and planes)[&:]

Feinder -> RE: Port moresby (11/30/2005 9:29:35 PM)

The replacements will show up for whatever units you have in PM, at PM, regardless of the command they are assigned to if you have ample supply.

If the are compelled to draw replacements elsewhere (because supply is low), the replacements will arrive at whichever base you have parked the OzCom HQ (because PM is assigned to OzCom).

But don't bother converting it to SWPac, your PBEM opponent is going to take it from you anway. Better to "convert it for free", when you liberate it next year.

[;)]thank you Feinder, but I know my opponent reads these lines, so don't give him any hope about PM because he won't get it !
But I like the idea of the "free convertion" ! in case of......
