JPEGs are a lot less expensive than girlfriends... especially when the wife finds out!

I rather suppose after many wives find out then the cost comes to just about the same. Still, there's something to be said for JPEGs. They don't play games, they don't turn alpha, and fickle they are not.

I think that the divorce rate for finding JPEGs on a computer is a bit lower than that when the wife finds the hotel receipts (or receipts for a necklace, fur, etc that she never saw)!!

The discovery of JPEGS does make the wife a little more expensive, but still they're cheaper than girlfriends...

Also, JPEGs are safer.

The pictures

Oh, those.

One night a few years back Russ asked me to booze around with him in the Twin Cities. Well, early the next morning we found ourselves in this seedy alley down by the river near St. Paul. Russ lay crumpled three sheets to the wind against an ashcan, He looked like an old rag doll. I was just beginning to get my own bearings when this old man appeared and asked for change. "What's in it for me?" I asked. "Salvation!" he replied, "And all the women I've ever known in my life." With that, from underneath his dirty coat the man produced an envelope. He put that in my hand and said, "Treat these ladies with respect and you'll never know the street." Nodding in semi-stupor, I gave him what was left in my purse and the geezer hobbled away. Inside that envelope I found the pictures I share with you today.

I never saw the old man again, but at one time he must have been someone to stand clear of. As for Russ, I left him collapsed in the alley. Last I heard he'd shoved off on some leaky ore freighter out of Duluth. Me, I married into money, started my own software company, and God willing and the creek don't rise we're fixing to hit it big this Christmas.

Hi, Ah so thats your version is it? Well folks there never was a time when I would be passed out on a trash can after a mere one night of steaming.

Actually, had not you been so utterly in the bag you'd have awakened in time to meet this girl, who I left beside you out of respect for our friendship and your long and loyal service to the country.

Hi, She picked my pocket and hit me over the head with an empty Piesporter Michelsberg bottle. (Spätlese)

Well, I doubt it was anything personal. She was probably feeling used. I didn't take time to apologize as I left.

Scout1 was looking for this and I thought I'd make it current just in case anyone's interest was "aroused"!
