Ahh.  Actually, I did have a question about the plane engines.  What the hell are advanced Mitsubishi and Nakajima engines for?   Granted I didn't look at all the plane types.  I also noted a Ki-48-II.....

There are some HTML format files in CHS documentation, and they mention some things about planes and engines (and other things) - you might try looking in there (at work now, so i can't check.)

Was that in association for the search for the Brown Note? Or is this some other strange investigation... (we here at Mythbusters have heard rumors it was possible to strap lovely ladies to tables...)

Nah - just click OK... they never actually check on these things (but keep those giggles down...)

Strapping Carrie to the table was supposed to be checking water torture

i never did hear them checking on the myth i suggested (someone thought it was good enough to send to them) - about the Soviets baling up paratroopers (in hay) and kicking them out of the plane at low altitude into deep snow...

Well, i (and some others) did some research into it... not many references, but they were widely repeated, so we were wondering if it was a myth - and so someone sent it in (or claimed they did - that could be a myth as well)...

Sounds like something the Russians would do...

"Here's your Hero of the Soviet Union medal, now jump!"

"But Comrade, what about my parachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute...?"

Yeah, that's why the story keeps sticking around - it DOES sound like something they'd do...

Supposedly, up to 50% of the troops were in good enough shape to fight after this treatment...

Morning all.  I finally got CHS loaded successfully.  I stayed up until after midnight to gather "data".  0430 came all too quickly.   Very different.  Instead of 3 different classes each of AK and AP, now there's 21 of each.  China is a mess too.  I think Nik took all the units and randomly dumped them on the map.   Should be lots of fun.

Your asking the wrong guy. I had nothing to do with any of the CHS scenarios.
