Forgot to mention the Ma Duece .50 cal MG. More than 60 years old and still in service.

Nice to see that the tax payers get their money's worth some times.

Hard to fly it, though...

I heard a story/rumor that they were going to bring back the Colt .45 pistol into limited service. That would be 87 years old, iirc...

OK - at last! Your prize for the NAKED ANIMAL contest!

Sorry this took so long, but Photoshop Elements really doesn't like lettering very much...

one of my all time favorites, the C-130 mighty Herc. I was actually surprised to see that the B-52 (the plane, not the band, though they both rock) is 5 years older than the C-130. However, while the B-52 is still in service the last one produced was in 1961. The C-130 is still in production with the last delivery being in 1999.

THe Mighty Herc

Painful tithe. I had to have a temporary crown put in today, because I somehow managed to shear off a cusp from a molar last night. My jaw aches. No fun.

Tax payers must be served (preferable medium well) .

This is interfering with my duty to worship the Thread.

i mean- you'd think the light of their monitors would be enough to repel a Grue... but then again, maybe they decided to go downstairs in the dark for a snack or something and ....

OK - maybe another NAKED ANIMAL contest will help...

Same rules as before - no overly broad categories allowed (i.e. will not allow guesses like "fish", "mammal", "bird", "snake",) and only one guess per post.

I'll give you THREE hours, as i think you guys need some time, and will allow more time for the West Coast boys. (Sorry, Australia...)

Starting time is 8:00 a.m. C.S.T. by my watch, or 2:00 p.m. G.M.T.

Grue's eat cats? That explains their rarity........grue's, that is.
