I do think a vague hint at the beginning of the contest would be good. It adds a little spice to the game. Operative word though is vague. Thinking on this, i actually **HAVE** been giving a very vague hint at the beginning of the contest. If i think it is going to be a difficult NAKED ANIMAL, i give you more time. If it is an easier one, i'll give less time. i might say it is because of work pressures - and it is, but in that case (work pressure) i try to use the "easier" ones. How's that for vague!!! Up to you Robert. The Thread calls and I will serve. ok - i'll try to give a LITTLE bit more hint. Note that hints can sometimes mislead, as the "insult" clue did today, since you didn't know about the term "squid" being an insult. For instance, if i gave the hint "warm-blooded", you might not think of certain animals that are generally thought to be cold-blooded, but in fact are not. An example of this is SALMON - a warm-blooded fish (at least according to some articles i've read). (Actually (according to the article), it turns out many of the tastier fishes are warm-blooded.) Anyway, i'll give a bit a hint to start. If there is good participation, i'll give another clue towards the end.
