My question was less about the running for office than serving in the military. Serving in the military is certainly a profession......especially for generals and dictators. Nonetheless, since the esteemed moderator has allowed the question, I will move on......

True - but lots of politicians have served in the military, as have actors...

Which is what makes these categories so provacative. There are surprisingly many questions that apply to two or three of the categories. Even some dictators were great actors, in their own right. lol

That's why you can't give unique hints like that.....far too easy and tempting to google them up..

ahhh yes. The hint about second cousin. I forgot.

As well.

Congratulations Ctangus. You have won the first semi-sometime-frequent guess that dictator-general-or TV Star.

Negative. Don't want to use up your potential animals for the naked animal contest. Cartoon will be forth coming.

In looking up McLean Stevenson, I ran across this old TV show, which was well before my time.

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://mywebpages.comcast.net/matchgame/3x5pictures/McLeanStevenson2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://mywebpages.comcast.net/matchgame/3X5Picturesq-s.html&h=252&w=360&sz=17&tbnid=4MBlmm3ejEJmxM:&tbnh=81&tbnw=117&hl=en&start=19&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmclean%2Bstevenson%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26rls%3DDVXA,DVXA:2005-03,DVXA:en%26sa%3DN

Looking through the photos of the men and women it does make me wonder. Given the utterly rediculous styles of the time, how did any males get lucky in the 70s?

Are you kidding? In the heyday of the sexual revolution and pre-AIDs? How lucky can you get?

Didn't need them in the 70's....there were strange visions to be seen everywhere, no drugs required. Heroin was the 70's drug IIRC. LSD was a hippie thing.

Anyone else noticing that 70's styles are coming back in with the younger crowd? Arrgh!!

Well, remember the women dressed about as goofy as the men. What you seen in the pics then were all the style then and i suspect if someone dressed like a "rockstar"/Rap artist) today showed up (untied sneakers, pants falling halfway to knees, lots of tatoos) they would probably arrested then on suspicion of having escaped from prison. Or a more normally dressed person of today would have been considered as being dressed "hopelessly square"...
