At my last job I tried to put up in my cubicle a sign that said "Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." But my boss made me take it down the next time he came to me with an "emergency".

"Strange" how it gets annoying to the other guy when it's his ox that is gored...

I have a countown clock in my office that as of today shows that I have 3084 calander days until I retire (08-14-2014). My old chief thought that this showed a lack of dedication.

Probably because it did. It would just help employer-employee relations so much if employers would just remember that most workers are there for the paycheck, not because of some religious dedication to higher stock prices for others. *sigh*

Nik, i think your devotion to carrying around small furry feline creatures in a small boat (like the punt pictured below) is admirable!

Guys, promise me just one thing. You won't do what someone did in another forum and post a webcam video of someone eating a bullet.

Why would you want to eat a bullet...when they say you need more iron in your diet, that's not what they mean...

I was trying to be at least a little discreet. The video showed some teenager committing suicide.

That's putting it extremely mildly. I don't plan on returning to that forum.

One contestant! Good enough for the staff here at NAKED ANIMAL Central...

This will, of course, give fabertong an advantage!

The Highly Controversial, Highly Exotic (?) Hardly Erotic NAKED ANIMAL Contest will run again today!

As always, the prize is a cheesey personalized cartoon photo!!

Same old rules - one guess per post. No overly broad guesses (i.e. "fish", "snake", "mammal", etc. will not be accepted as guesses.) As always i can reuse previous animals (although i have not done that yet), and naturally "naked" animals are still naked (i.e., the infamous armadillo).

It is 8:20 a.m. C.S.T. or 2:20 G.M.T/14:20 Zulu Time. You have FOUR hours today... (hint#1 - i should only give you at LEAST 2 hours...)

Hint#2 - Vertebrate (has a back-bone)!
