Nik has rigged up a devlish trap. He has rigged a small motor which is tied to a string, the other end of the string is attached to the inside of the toe of his shoe. When activated, the motor winds up the string and retracts into the shoe. Any cat seeing this will (of course) pursue it into the shoe - and Nik's foot odor does the rest...
