OK - not sure now whether it was just a US kinda song, or if my age is showing...

Are the US guys here familiar with the song "Duke of Earl"?

Doesn't the BB Duke of Earl arrive in Karachi in '44?

"Prince, Prince, Prince, Prince of Wales" just doesn't flow as well.

OK - yeah - i wasn't really into rock music in 1962*, but the song is real familiar to me... so i guess it is (was) a US thing...

i've asked around - people here much younger than me are generally familiar with "Duke of Earl", so the "US thing" theory still holds up...

"Nothing can stop the Duke of Earl" is the only other line I know.

Well, between that and the "Duke Duke Duke" refrain, that is about 1/2 the lyrics (by word count)

They were probably running away from Angmar who was searching for the Yellow Pages at the time to give T a call.

No Ohio Guardsmen there. We aren't authorized a Female Viking Stampede Battalion.

Well, along with the poisonous insects, snakes, bobcats, and coyotes, even the squirrels are now a problem - my dogs had a heck of a time this morning with this one...

(where's Solli - i'll bet this is one of his guys!! )

Unfortunately, no. My opponent has a unit of these guarding Attu as I type. I'll capture them and give them an option to die or become mercenaries for me.

Yeah we got one of them, but it's usually only at platoon strength. Hard to keep up to it's authorized strength. They just don't last very long. Wonder why......

The squirrels belong to me and their loyalty cannot be bought.

However, it can be rented for a few nuts a day.

Makes me think ole "Bushytail" is one of those nicknames that means the opposite. Ya know, like Mr. Big or Madam Easy.
