Im hoping to make a repeat performance tonight. Maybe i'll PUNT the cat a few times as well for kicks. It keeps following around because it has seperation anxiety from the other critters being gone. Nothing like waking up in the morning and staring bleary-eyed into a set of cat eyes sitting on your chest.

Maybe some cat repelent tactics are in order. Ben Gay works quiet well.

I've been busy packing my bags for Ireland. Don't think I've forgotten anything, but obviously I won't find out until I'm airborne.

Cut to profile shot of flying passenger jet:

Me: "D'OH!!!"

Bleh, tequilla... That's one surefire way to a hangover for me...

If its the good stuff, i.e. about $80 a bottle, you can down quiet a bit before trouble sets in.

Fighting Cock....very interesting. Since I am a college football fan, specifically the University of South Carolina Fighting Gamecocks, this whiskey shows up at every tailgate (NOT brought by me). It's not bad as bourbon goes, but bourbon sucks, period.

Gimme Black Bushmills anyday, or a fine single-malt.

And if it's the bad stuff, it'll taste like feet and still sneak up on you...

BTW, R, any news on the work situation?

Just stumbled across this looking for something else - no, no news yet - they promised (a week ago) that they would have news "in a week" - so, if there is no news by monday, active job search starts.

Douse yourself liberally in some kind of cologne, Nik. Cats hate cologne. Just don't use Eau de Catnip.

EDIT: Grrr..stupid wood crap again.

Scotch is fine but for a serious drunk you really need rum.

Despite it's cheapness, its actually not bad....comprable to Wild Turkey 101. It ain't Makers Mark or one of the better (and expensive whiskeys) but then again, i'm not exactly purchasing it for the 'taste.' (Admittedly the better whiskeys go down much smoother)

and @ 103 proof.....WHEE! don't take long to achieve.

No argument from me...bad tequila is one step away from paint thinner.

Fighting Cock......103proof kentucky whiskey and "Pringles"

Ah, debauchery at its finest.

Personally, for the best drunk hangovers I recommend a premium tequila and nachos, or if not available cornflakes.

This almost was predicted by yesterday's post of Nik in his "off" time...

It was indeed, unfortunately the after effects had me giving it up for the most part.

Seconded. I have missed so much of the Thread this week I didn't know you were going. I also don't know what's up with Robert's company...alas, it's off to finish some honey-do's. Later fellow Threadians.
