Hmmmm......methinks that it is time for a new avatar.......I've had this one ever since I first joined.  Trouble is I have no idea what to use, and even less of where to find such an item

What about a pic of the fanged kangaroo mentioned a few pages back? Still shows some Ozzie patriotism.

Raverdave needs an avatar? Hmmm... i don't THINK i saved a copy of the one with RD in helmet, but i might have... unfortunately, if i DID save it, it would be on my computer at home.

Let's see- RD is Australian, suggesting marsupials, sheep, good looking women... hmmm - how about this one (a cross between the last two...) :

i don't THINK Frag will object too much about his ex's photo being used...

Checklist
Helmet - check
Water - check
.50 cal machine gun - check
iPod - featuring the Who - check
horn - check
tire spikes - check
finger limbered up - check

OK ready to go. See you all later.

The Who!

I used a similar chack list when I was still in patrol. Only had a 9mm but wished I had (and sometimes needed) the .50 cal.

Hogwash! That's just pure hyperbole. You actually have to drink the beer(s!) to see the beauty in everything.

Syd Barrett update:

A co-worker just gave me an obituary article about Syd Barrett. A few things i did not know/realize were in it, the most interesting (?) of which is that the song "Shine On, You Crazy Diamond" was about Syd.

Not stated in the article (but i suspect might be true) is that the concept (insanity) for the album Dark Side of the Moon might have been inspired by Syd.

Aside from the Daffy rendition - there is this pic:

EDIT: Of course, this is the demon duck, not the fanged kangaroo.

Perhaps i could find a pic from the cover of "Platypus of Doom"...
