So what does that come out to mean?

Kinda hard to do it with you guys here. Besides, it was more like a deperate cry for help than premeditated harm to the Beloved Thread.

As much as it pains me to play second fiddle to a penguin, I still consider it to be an accomplishment. I feel like the second person to climb the Everest.

Hey, I couldn't stop him. I was at the grocery store.

It was either that or mow the lawn (do you know how hot it is out there?)

And I must admit it's something I have wanted to do myself.

We should not have left him alone. He was lonely. What else could he do?

Hot enough to melt the thermal tiles off the space shuttle.

Well it's 1/26 and the Japanese have 10,000 troops ashore in Palembang but without any supplies. They have 1000 troops in Kendari but again no supplies. Plus they lost 2 DDs and 1 severely damaged CL (it's moving 1 hex a turn).

Good morning to all.

Speedy, I am thinking that since you are changing time zones 7 or 8 hours you may want to fly on Saturday.

Howdy Bruce

You may be right. Still not checked out flights yet. Been with GF Mk1 for 4 hours. Must try and find flights tonight......

I just had a pretty good game month (Aug 42). Here's the ship losses we each took:

Me (Japanese for the 2 of you out there who don't know ):

1 BB (Fuso)
1 CL (Jintsu)
2 PG
1 MSW
3 AP
2 AK
2 AG (they don't really count)

My illustrious opponent (Heh):

1 CV (Wasp )
3 BB (Old ones, but gone nevertheless)
1 CA
2 CL
6 DD
1 SS
1 PC
2 PG
2 MSW
5 AP
14 AK
2 DMS
6 TK

In addition, there are 2 BBs (PA and TN), 1 CA, 2 CLAAs and 2 DDs badly damaged stuck in the port of Adak. I have sea and air superiority in the area and I'm bombing them to oblivion. Oh yeah, the Enterprise is limping to port with 3 torps and a 250 kg bomb. If she makes it, she'll be out of the war for a year. He's got the Hornet and Lexington under repair and nothing coming for awhile. Two of my CVs are under repair and two are limping to port after taking out Wasp and trashing Enterprise. One of those is iffy, but I think she'll make it. I've lost Hosho and Taiyo. I'm enjoying this because I know it's temporary. Those damn P-38s are a month out but I'm going to hold my own in the Central Pacific and the Indian Ocean for some time yet.

Aw. Well, I guess you wont get a chance to write me a nasty email. Frankly, I'd rather be berated by someone who can kick my butt in WitP.

Doesn't that pretty much cover every single member of the forum?

Aside from me, of course... And Speedy and Nik, because they both suck so very badly...

But anyway, logistics are cool... It's the glue that holds every link of the value chain together, and without it, everything stops... Like the man said, professionals study logistics.

The evil Japanese Empire will fall

Oh and in my game the Jintsu just ran across P of W and Repulse. That little CL and 2 DDs are now on the bottom. Unfortunately they took out a Dutch DD.
