No, that's not where it came from...

Isn't being Danish enough of a reason?

You know, I think we'll change the paradigm here. For every instance of somebody here trying to go up The List through insults, etc., they'll actually move DOWN The List instead...

Ah well, I lost my first Japanese CV last night. *Sigh* I lost the Kaga. I guess if I have to lose one of the big 6, it should be the Kaga. She's the slowest. So far, my opponent has lost the Yorktown, Wasp and Saratoga, with the Enterprise in really bad shape trying to make port. *Fingers crossed hoping she sinks* The Hornet and Lexington are both damaged. I think the Lex will be back in service within a couple of weeks. *Wanders off really depressed*

Edit: She was in port (without an airfield) and fortunately only 5 pilots went down with her.

Pats him on the back...At leaast you've had a carrier battle. 6.5 months in my game and zip. Course it would hep if I would move my carriers out of SF Bay.

You want to talk about depressed, I'd like to find the engineer that designed the detenator on the US torps and strap him to the end of one. SS Sailfish had Zuiho centered in the cross hairs. The first the Jap carrier knew of it was the loud Clunk of the torpedo hitting the side of the ship. The jap escorts responded with a grand total of 1 hit to my sub, the result was damaged front torpedo tubes.

Edit: Still, I bet Graycompany had to change his shorts after watching the animation screen.

It's Sep 42 and we've had 3 carrier battles. The first was SE of Tarawa in Mar 42 where I had Shokaku, Zuikaku, Soryu and Hiryu damaged to his loss of Yorktown and Sara. Two of mine have since returned to duty with the other two due back in service this month. My intent was to trash some cargo TFs in the area. I did destroy some 30 or so merchant ships. The second (almost) carrier battle had the Enterprise vs. Shokaku, Junyo, Hiyo and Ryujo with the Hosho and Taiyo following along as spare flight decks in case my carriers were damaged. The Enterprise and my main fleet ended up being 2 hexes apart with the CVEs 3 hexes from his. My CVs were under cloud cover and he sank my CVEs. The 5 Kates on the Hosho attempted to attack the Enterprise unsuccessfully They got some posthumous medals. Prior to the third attack, I saw a fleet heading toward Tarawa and sent the Akagi, Kaga, Zuiho and Shoho to intercept. It turned out to be a mass of merchant ships. I sank (so far) 9 TKs and 5 AKs and have damaged an additional 19 TKs and 4 AKs. He showed up with Wasp and Enterprise. That's when the air strikes took place. I smothered the Wasp and went down like a rock. The Enterprise took a bomb and torp. The Akagi took 8 thousand pounders and Kaga took 4. Kaga made it to port and sank the next day. I don't think he knew about the 2 CVLs because of some comments he made in his email. I charged forward with them and got 2 more torpedo hits on the Enterprise. We'll see if she survives or not.

Bah, carriers... Who needs 'em? I've had an actual battleship battle off Kuantan, where the Yamashiro and the Trafalgar sank each other. Yes, I lost a BB, but it was fun to watch.

Well, the use of a feline Human Resources Manager does create exceptional synergy, in the "productivity goes up because of fear in the workforce" department.

And Catbert's not Danish, he's a demon from hell, like all cats...

You just wise-assed yourself OFF The List, young man!

But your logic is deeply flawed, by the way. It's of the same school as "All dogs have four legs" -> "My cat has four legs" -> "My cat is therefore a dog".

Top that guys!

And I am almost 40, hardly young.

As to my logic, my cat thinks she is a dog.

Same old Brother T. A day full of meetings with the US, French and Germany based Inside Sales teams. Quite productive though.

In case you wonder what I do - My main role is to create new leads for the company and allow the field sales/engineers to sell the product on site.

I hear you. I traded 2 for 2 in the first month of the War One sank one hex away from Kjellweinie, or whatever the name is. The rest are limping to Truk, then on to Oskaka. Good think Soho has arrived.
