Well. I learnt something today, it's probably about time too.

It's not a funny pic, but it's one that I found interesting (I know it's sad)

I'm assuming that excessive wear and tear.

Cricket balls weigh about 5.5 to 5.75 ounces.  The VC-10 cruises at about 568 mph so anything hitting it is going to make a dent.

Cricket balls are small compared to football, proper football that is.  Not the game where the big girl's blouses play rugby with excess padding and stop every 30 seconds for a rest

**And they are bloody hard, especially if you 'accidentaly' hit someone with one...**

I wouldn't know, the original Thread was before my time - but I gather that I've missed a lot of fun... No, I'm thinking of "Java", quite literally, from Poland. As a reminder, he used to post this picture:

And thanks, rtrapasso!

Ah - this is the pic that freaked him out so badly, i gather... hmmm... i would consider "Fluffy", the satanic dog far worse, but, hey, to each their own nightmare...

Hey Dixie, if you're bored, here's the gateway to much internet madness:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_phenomenon

Teh INTARNETS are a weird, weird place! Me likes!

For instance, I urge everyone to contemplate the meaning of the leekspin song for at least several hours. Yes, LEEK, as in "vegetable"...

well, there are 8 of these suckers now at:

http://anime.livedoor.com/theater/2.html

the first one is here:
http://anime.livedoor.com/movie/7c2b96541747b374/

it's a rather bizarre little set of animes, that was featured here on the forum as the "Japanese WTF tanks" some time ago. Someone actually did translations of the first couple of episodes - it didn't really aid in understanding them ...

These lil' guys all drive backwards, and are sometimes abducted by kittens...

Preparing your own punchline by quoting yourself:

Curiosity killed the cat!

"Notice all the computations, theoretical scribblings, and lab equipment, Norm ... Yes, curiosity killed these cats."

BTW - i should mention there is a real risk of vision damage (due to the viewer's clawing their own eyes out after watching these...)

9/10 on the bizarre-o-meter!!

To counter that, I have to increase the WTF!-rating:

EDIT: Better link.
