You got a better history background than I did. When I went to school we got the Revolution from K-11th grade and then everything else in 12th grade. Of course I skipped 12th grade to go to college early so if it were not for the History Channel (Glaring errors and all) I would know nothing of history. I knew abolutly nothing about the Korean war or the US Civil war until I was in my mid 20s.

The main problem with this thread is that I do a post and the next day I have to hunt through 10 pages to see what the replies to my post were.

OK - here is a general question:

i dislike Norton Antivirus, and AVG is discontinuing its free anti-viral software, so:

Any suggestions about a good antivirus program (preferably free) to use? AVG is OK, but i know other people preferred other free programs (but i don't recall the program names...)

It's not free but I use NOD 32. Its an excellent program in that it seems to catch everything, but unless it is catching something it is virtually silent, a real virtue in virus software as far as I am concerned.

i'll have to check out the Grisoft site. Maybe it doesn't apply to Europe or something...

When i go to the site you referenced, it asks me to download the free version - 7.1.409. if i do a search for version 7.5 free, it says it is about $70.
