For anyone in the Los Angeles area, just a little reminder - CONQUEST LA is this weekend from Friday thru Sunday. It will held at the LAX Hilton. Check out their website at www.conquestla.com for more information.

I'll be running a LOCK N' LOAD: BAND OF HEROES tournament on Friday night. It is planned for 3-4 rounds using a modified swiss format. This tournament is meant for all levels of players (beginners are welcome and encouraged to participate). If you have a copy of the game, bring it (I'll have 3 copies of the game, but if we have more than 6 players for a round it may take longer to get through the round). I'll also try to set up a couple of laptops with VLNL installed, just to break some of the "VASSAL is too complicated" myths.

The tournament starts at 6pm and depending on the participation could go on as late as 2am ... so bring lots of caffeine!

Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner-up as well as a third award for the "blood and guts" commander.

Cheers!
