Almost a year into the campaign, IJN is down to 34 destroyers. 69 are sunk, and 3 more are yet to be constructed.

Asakaze class:

13 units still afloat. IJN Hatsuharu sighted off Ponape last month. No intel on others.

Umikaze class:

2 units still afloat, both just seriously damaged off Tokyo. Not expected to re-enter combat duty prior to July.

Sakura class:

1 unit (IJN Sakura) still afloat. Location unknown.

Kaba class:

2 units still afloat. IJN Kashiwa seriously damaged a week ago off Tokyo. Location of IJN Kaede is unknown.

Momo/Enoki classes:

2 units still afloat, both damaged. IJN Tsubaki was torpedoed off Tokyo in March and IJN Maki shelled off Truk in April.

Minekaze class:

6 units still afloat, all based in Tokyo. IJN Yakaze was moderately damaged last night.

Momi/No. 2 classes:

7 units still afloat with 3 more scheduled to arrive in July-September. IJN Take and IJN No. 4 were seriously damaged off Tokyo a week ago, and IJN Warabi bought some shells off Truk in April. IJNs Kiku, Aoi, Sumire sighted engaging in medium-range cruises based out of Tokyo, currently believed to be on convoy duty. No data on IJN Kuri.

No. 1 class:

IJN No. 3 still afloat, although heavily damaged in April off Tokyo.

Forced in Sakhalin are out of supply - and my dreadnoughts can no longer rearm there. Since their damages are hitting oranges anyway, I'm sending them home. It's going to hurt me in Hokkaido, though, especially since all 4 AA regiments that just landed are defense only.

No despair; 3rd regiment of 3rd division is on the way as well as one whole other division. And another batch of raiders is about to sack Singapore in the morning.

I have the worst luck getting tank cos to the frontlines: this is my 2nd or 3rd one lost en route... The problem is they fit on one transport, so if it goes down...

Which reminds me, I haven't seen the ex-German subs in a long, long time.

4 regiments are still en route to Hokkaido, due in a few days.

2 regiments due to Naga region in PI, ETA - 3 weeks. Time to take Manila back.

Raiders are starting to run out of ammo - and the nearest point of resupply is Midway.

4 more Japanese transports sink, bringing the total of sunk merchants to 150. That's about 750,000grt. Out of 3,350,000 that Japan had in real life in 1921. Ouch.

17th raider is lost at sea.

Forward elements of VI division are en route to Hokkaido, ETA late June. 2 regiments of XXI (Hawaiian) division are en route to Luzon, ETA late June - early July.

I wonder... 250,000 men divided by 60 square miles... how many is that per square foot? Hehe.

Each side loses a merchant. 40th division will land at Hokkaido tomorrow, and a regiment of Hawaiian division at Yap with another regiment and 2nd BB division in a close follow-up.

Something I forgot to consider in due time: raiders can be used as fast transports... :)

Speed 12, 11 after a single point of damage = 2 hexes a day. Range 20000. Capacity 400 each - 24-32 average squads. Currently pictured TF loaded 105 squads in a fast transport mode in a single round using 0 ops. Capacity goes down to 0 if TF is switched to transport mode.

P.S. Note that after sailing from Pearl to Home Islands and back to Midway TF still has over 50% fuel and range left.

No. 1923-style AKs and APs are armed transports. CLs are raiders... I've been using them for a month, and already their 6" broadside guns are #1 killer in the game. And they got 5" ones too... and mines.

P.S. 6" raider guns have already claimed 4 destroyers (including a brand new #1), a minelayer, an aircraft tender, three gunboats (technically, small pre-WW1 cruisers), and four submarine chasers... :)
