Under what circumstances are enemy ships captured (if ever)? I always see "[name of ship] scuttled at [name of base] to prevent capture" but haven't seen any actually seized. Seems like I recall people posting that you could in fact capture ships, so I'm wondering how or when this occurrs. I'm assuming that docked enemy ships aren't possible (guessing they would have to be anchored in port).

AFAIK, you can't capture ships. They always run or scuttle depending upon whether docked or disbanded.

Correct...this was asked waaaaaay back before game release and was answered in the negative.
