How does one unjam the AA guns on a ship? Section and page number of the online training manual please. Have yet to see a plane fly by after trying an attack on my ship because of jammed guns. I am getting tired of losing my ship because the gun won't fire. I think it must be close to 20% of the time that I have a beautiful aim on the incoming aircraft that the gun jams.

Your gun isn't jamming, it's reloading. All AAA guns use magazines holding various amounts of ammo and when the clip is used up it pauses to reload. Some pauses take a lot longer than others depending on the gun.

If your barrel gets hit by enemy fire then your gun becomes disabled sometimes, but I have never seen a jammed gun through simply firing it. Having them Jam would be realistic, but since you lack the ability to clear Jams it would make it too much of a pain in the arse for players were they to include Jams I think.

Funny thing, I jump from #6 AA gun which has been destroyed to # 4 AA gun which has 10 clips 40 rounds available to fire wait for the plane to turn and attack me, take carefull aim squeeze the trigger and nothing happens. I'll tell you that I have it with this game. After the 30 day free period i'm out of here. You want to know why,I'll tell you,I just had a ship to ship battle and I blew him apart with hit after hit. I must have hit him at least 7 or 8 times as he is sinking the only thing that he has left to fire is from the # 4 AA gun, with it he sinks me believe it or not. My 1st kill. Have to respawn now. What did I get. 1hit, no kills and a big 0% raise for a promotion. I just watched his ship go down! This game is not for me.

LOL new player frustration is the biggest reason the game isn't more popular. A lot of people bail before they ever get close to being proficient in the game. Trust me if you stick it out and become better at it you'll learn to love the game.

The only way to guarantee a kill on any vehicle is to kill it's commander. If he despawns before commander dies you only get a damage result, so spray his bridge area with rapid fire and kill that bridge crew.

The best way to enjoy the rather limited naval game is to find a DD player that needs a crew and crew half the ship for him. Not an easy feat since DD players spawn very infrequently, but once you spend one or two missions off shore blasting everything that moves in an enemy town under attack to pieces, you'll gain several ranks. Try hanging out at the shipyard where a DD flotilla is based and private message any DD's that spawn to see if they'll take you on as a crew. Busy play times are best as you may wait for hours in a low population time. Or ask a squad mate if you're in a squad.

Rumor has it the Rats are trying to make the patrol boat game more enjoyable, but that could be 4-8 months away if it's even happening.

I've been playing 2+ years and still haven't bothered to try and get rank in the navy. Occasionally I'll grab a farmile, but they sink if they get hit by a rock and river banks are so high they are virtually useless for anything other than an AA platform.

Damaged gun, unfortunately only way to tell it’s damaged is when you try to fire it.

Patrol boat is great. So many different weapons. Just hope there were more use for it.
